Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
HB 2438 requires workers on public improvement projects be provided health insurance as a benefit of employment. There is no fiscal impact as the proposal relates to the regulatory responsibilities of the Offices of the Insurance Commissioner.
The State's purchasing division may be a source for projecting if any fiscal impact should be considered within the bid-process (administrative processing and bid proposals).
