3. Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
A one-day snapshot survey of inmates incarcerated in regional jail facilities on January 16, 2007, revealed that forty (40) inmates are qualified for work programs outside the facility. We believe the foregoing figure will remain constant throughout the year.
Therefore, we anticipate the 40 inmates will generate approximately $252,200.00 (40 inmates x 260 days x $24.25 which is 1/2 of current per diem rate) annually. |
