Senate Bill 696, if approved, would establish an Alzheimer’s Disease Registry within West Virginia University to act as a central information database for policy and planning relative to Alzheimer’s disease. According to individuals (from planning and finance) at West Virginia University, it would cost approximately $255,000 to operate and maintain the registry. This includes personnel and other basic operating costs.
