Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The passage of legislation to create the "Regional Jail Operations Partial Reimbursement Fund"; and increasing court costs for criminal and civil proceedings will generate roughly $5.5 million, a figure that was derived from the totals the WV Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority received from its bond repayment monies.
