Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
As proposed, this measure will have no impact on costs and revenues of state government because it provides that, "(S)alary adjustments shall be provided from the funding appropriated to the Department in the fiscal year two thousand five and may not be considered as requiring additional appropriations from the Legislature." Any other costs would be those associated with resources diverted from other activities for purposes of conducting the review of the pay equity increases that were given in 1999. Those costs are indeterminate.
