Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
Implementation of this proposed bill would cost about $50 per year in personal services. This additional annual reporting requirement would involve going through the daily inspection reports of ten railroad safety inspectors, listing the violations written, and researching the amount of fines levied. Most fines will probably not be available until the next year for posting in this report.
