Delegates Boggs, Stemple, Ashley and Leggett moved to amend the bill on page five, section ten, line sixty, following the word "institution" by inserting a colon and the following: "Provided, That no institution whose main campus is located no closer than fifty highway miles of the main campus of any other institution shall be merged, closed or privatized without subsequent legislative action."
The question being on the adoption of the amendment, the same was put and did not prevail.
