A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Examiners in Counseling to promulgate a legislative rule relating to marriage and family therapist license renewal and continuing professional education requirements.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Board of Examiners in Counseling.


The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 26, 2016, authorized under the authority of section six, article thirty-one, chapter thirty of this code, modified by the Board of Examiners in Counseling to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on January 25, 2017, relating to the Board of Examiners in Counseling (Marriage and Family Therapist License Renewal and Continuing Professional Education Requirements, 27 CSR 10), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Examiners in Counseling to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Marriage and Family Therapist License Renewal and Continuing Professional Education Requirements.
