A BILL to amend and reenact section seventeen, article thirty-four, chapter thirty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing the board of respiratory care practitioners.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section seventeen, article thirty-four, chapter thirty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 34. BOARD OF RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONERS.
§30-34-17. Termination.
The board provided for in this article shall terminate pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code on the first day of July, two thousand seven, unless continued pursuant to the provisions of that article by legislation enacted prior to the termination date.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the board of respiratory care practitioners to July 1, 2007, pursuant to the West Virginia sunset law.

This bill has been recommended for passage by the joint committee on government operations.)
