A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Treasurer's Office to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the procedure for fees in collections by charge, credit or debit card or by electronic payment.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Treasurer's Office.


The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 26, 2016, authorized under the authority of section six, article three-a, chapter twelve of this code, modified by the Treasurer's Office to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on October 21, 2016, relating to the Treasurer's Office (Procedure for Fees in Collections by Charge, Credit or Debit Card or by Electronic Payment, 112 CSR 12), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Treasurer's Office to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the Procedure for Fees in Collections by Charge, Credit or Debit Card or by Electronic Payment.
