A BILL to amend and reenact §64-2-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Ethics Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to private gain.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


That §64-2-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 2. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.

§64-2-1. Ethics Commission.


The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 23, 2016, authorized under the authority of section two, article two, chapter six-b of this code, modified by the Ethics Commission to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on December 19, 2016, relating to the Ethics Commission (Private Gain, 158 CSR 06), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Ethics Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Private Gain.
