HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 14

(By Delegates Duke, Cowles, Lane, Andes, Kump, Howell,

    Ashley, Ireland, Armstead, Sumner, C. Miller, Sobonya,

    Canterbury, Walters, Savilla, Carmichael, Ellem,

    Azinger, Evans, Storch, Householder, Nelson, Pasdon,

Amending the rules of the House of Delegates, relating to removal of name as joint sponsor of bill.

    Resolved by the House of Delegates:

    That the Standing Rules of the House of Delegates be amended by adding thereto a new rule as follows:

Removal of Name as Joint Sponsor of Bill

    94b. Any time prior to passage by the House of a House bill or action on an amendment by the Senate to a House bill, any joint sponsor of said bill may instruct the Clerk of the House to remove his or her name and the Clerk shall be compelled to do so.
