A Bill to repeal §61-11-20 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to crimes and their punishment; and eliminating the felony conviction for a second or subsequent conviction of petit larceny.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 11. GENERAL PROVISIONS CONCERNING CRIMES.
§1. Repeal of section relation to making second conviction of petit larceny a felony.

§61-11-20 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, is hereby repealed.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is repeal §61-11-20 that makes a second conviction of petit larceny a felony.
