A BILL to amend and reenact article 9, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Racing Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to thoroughbred racing.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
     That article 9, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-1. Racing Commission.
     The legislative rule filed in the State Register on the twenty-seventh day of August, two thousand twelve, authorized under the authority of section six, article twenty-three, chapter nineteen, of this code, modified by the Racing Commission to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on the fourth day of December, two thousand twelve, relating to the Racing Commission (thoroughbred racing,
178 CSR 1 ), is authorized with the following amendment:
     On page thirty-six, subdivision 24.1.i, by striking out the words "eighteen (18)" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "sixteen (16)" .

     NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Racing Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Thoroughbred Racing.
