A BILL to amend and reenact article 9, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Division of Protective Services to promulgate a legislative rule relating to contracted police or security services.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
     That article 9, chapter 64 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-1. Division of Protective Services.
     The legislative rule filed in the State Register on the thirty-first day of August, two thousand twelve, authorized under the authority of section three, article two-d, chapter fifteen of this code, modified by the Division of Protective Services to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on the seventeenth day of January, two thousand thirteen, relating to the Division of Protective Services (contracted police or security services,
99 CSR 5 ), is authorized.

     NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Division of Protective Services to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Contracted Police or Security Services.
