A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty-nine, relating to amending the infrastructure and jobs development counsel funding rule relating to determining eligibility for infrastructure grants.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty-nine, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.

§64-9-29. Infrastructure and jobs development council.

The legislative rule contained in title one hundred sixty seven, series one, and filed in the state register on the ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred ninety-six, under the authority of section four, article fifteen-a, chapter thirty-one of this code, relating to the infrastructure and jobs development council (infrastructure and jobs development council funding rules, 167 CSR 1) is reauthorized with the following amendment:
On page ten, section five, subsection 5.7, by striking out '1 ½%' and inserting in lieu thereof '.6%'.


NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to amend the Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council Funding Rule to allow for all counties in the state to become eligible for Infrastructure Fund grants.
