A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section designated §5A-3-1b, relating to terminating the Purchasing Division.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 3. PURCHASING DIVISION.

§5A-3-1b. Purchasing division terminated.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this code to the contrary, the Purchasing Division within the Department of Administration is terminated beginning July 1, 2025.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to terminate the Purchasing Division.
