A BILL to amend and reenact §10-5-5a of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to abolishing the Advisory Committee on Journalistic and Editorial Integrity.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §10-5-5a of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 5. EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING AUTHORITY.
§10-5-5a. Advisory Committee on Journalistic and Editorial Integrity abolished.

Effective July 1, 2010, the Advisory Committee on Journalistic and Editorial Integrity previously established in this section is abolished.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to abolish the Advisory Committee on Journalistic and Editorial Integrity.

§10-5-5a has been completely rewritten; therefore, strike- throughs and underscoring have been omitted.
