A BILL to repeal §61-2-8 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to making it a crime to intentionally cause an abortion or miscarriage.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


§1. Repeal of section creating a crime to intentionally cause an abortion or miscarriage.

That §61-2-8 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to remove a superseded section of the Code.
