A BILL to amend and reenact §5-14-12 of the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, related to continuation of the West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That §5-14-12 of the code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 14. WEST VIRGINIA COMMISSION FOR THE DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING.
§5-14-12. Continuation of the West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing Hard of Hearing.

The West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing Hard of Hearing shall continue to exist, pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, until the first day of July, two thousand five nine, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to the provisions of that article.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing until July 1, 2009, pursuant to the West Virginia Sunset law.
